Well, this is how I see Luke a lot:
Sniff, sniff, snort, chuff, BARK, BARK, BARK... over and over again.
Monday night we decided to introduce Luke to Sandy. It went something like this - me in a sweatshirt and Luke in his harness after chasing his "flashlight" in the back yard. Jeff had the muscle and I had the kitty. She hissed a couple of times after he lunged. After she hissed, he would not look at her.
Wednesday night (Jeff's Birthday) we tried it again. Immediately, he would not look at her, so Sandy decided that it was OK just go walk around. Luke lunged at her a couple of times and she went and hid by the couch.
Saturday afternoon - I just opened her door and let her come out to see Luke. She hissed, he turned away, but then decided to check her out some more. I kept waiting for her to swat him, but she did not. She retreated into her bathroom and Luke tried to follow, but we pulled him out of her safe place. We plan to try again tonight and tomorrow. At some point, Luke will have a kitty and I can stop rotating the animals - dog outside, Sandy out of the Bathroom; Sandy in the bathroom, Luke in the house.
